Klaus Mitchell – Co-Founder

Klaus is a journalist, entrepreneur, and public speaker (COP28, Meta), known for his contributions to environmental advocacy. His journey in sustainability gained global attention through World’s Apart, a social experiment where he was paired with a climate change skeptic. The campaign, which sparked dialogue on bridging ideological divides, achieved over 50m views in the first month and was featured on CNN, Good Morning America and USA Today.

Mitchell has since played a significant role in environmental filmmaking, including serving as script editor for the Netflix documentary Seaspiracy, which reached the platform’s top 10 list in multiple countries.

As a founder and innovator, Mitchell has launched several media platforms, including Secret Dining Hub and Plant Based News. The latter is a leading voice in the conscious living movement, with nearly 4 million followers and a mission to inspire sustainable change worldwide.

Mitchell’s latest venture, The Sustainability Awards, co-founded with Tom Leach, highlights and celebrates groundbreaking achievements in sustainability across industries.

Tom Leach – Co-Founder

Tom Leach is an entrepreneur and creative force bringing over 16 years of industry experience to his role as Director of Norsu Media Group. His multifaceted background spans marketing & entertainment, security, and business ventures across the environmental and plant-based landscape.

Tom founded and runs one of the UK’s top marketing firms, ranked as the #1 TikTok Ad Agency in 2023 and Top 10 for SEO services on Clutch.

As an investor, he has stakes in several brands including the global media company Plant Based News and the streaming network Paus, where he also headed marketing prior to its acquisition by CiND!E.

With his creative vision, business acumen, and multi-disciplinary expertise, Tom brings a unique and valuable skillset to The Sustainability Awards.
